A tourist bus will take you to explore the Sacred Valley of the Incas early in the morning to visit the most important archaeological sites. We will start in Chincheros; here, you will learn about the Inca techniques of handloom weaving. Additionally, you’ll be able to purchase the “tourist ticket” which will grant you access to this archaeological site and two other archaeological sites throughout this tour. Your next stop is at the archaeological complex of Moray, known for being a laboratory where the Incas experimented with crops. Then, we will visit the salt mines of Maras, where an extra fee of 10 soles is required for entry. Around 12:30 pm, we will be in Urubamba to enjoy a delicious buffet lunch. We will explore the impressive archaeological site of Ollantaytambo, where we can visit the Temple of the Sun and admire its megalithic rocks. Once our visit to Ollantaytambo is finished, we will head on our own to the train station located in the same town and board a tourist train that will take us to the town of Aguas Calientes. Afterward, you should make your way to your accommodation, where you can rest and recharge for Machu Picchu.
