We will start by picking up each of you from your accommodations in Puno and head to the port to board a boat that will take us to the Uros Island.

Once there, representatives from the community will welcome us, and we will begin a guided tour of the island, accompanied by locals and our guide.

The Uros Island is distinguished by its uniqueness: it is entirely built with totora, an aquatic plant that grows in the lake. The inhabitants of this island, the Uros, have used totora to construct their houses, rafts, and floating platforms, adapting by using the natural resources of their environment.

We will conclude the visit by boarding our boat again to return to the port and then back to our hotels.
